A fairy tale caught at the exact instant it breaks its own rules. The sleeping heroine is not waiting in her glass case — she is already airborne above it, leaping past the court, the dwarfs and the watching queen. The scene keeps every ornament of the old story, gold, candlelight and gothic stone, and turns it into a stage for a single act of self-liberation.
